Following last Friday’s Covid-19 update on moving Auckland into Alert Level 2, we announced the Ryman Healthcare Auckland Women’s Triples and Auckland Men’s Singles would be rescheduled to 17–18 April 2021.

We were aware the new dates may create a clash of an event for some players.  On reflection, we have reviewed the playing programme, the potential commitments of players and player feedback.  With all these aspects considered, we have reached a solution we believe is beneficial for all players overall.

The solution reshuffles the events around a little but uses existing announced dates as follows:

The reshuffle recognises:

• the Ryman Healthcare Auckland Men’s Singles semis and finals can be played on the Finals Weekend on 10–11 April,
• there will be less disruption of players participating in the National 7s Interclub Finals being held in Canterbury on 17–18 April,
• all the events can be played on natural greens.

Please note the entries for the Ryman Healthcare Auckland Women’s Triples and Auckland Men’s Singles have been re-opened and the draws will be redone.  The closing date for entries is now 15 March 2021.
