Bowls is Back! Auckland Finals Day
7 June 2020

Bowls is back! A great day was had by all – some a bit more than others…  but the general feeling was, win or lose, it was awesome to be back on the green. These past months have been challenging, there have been joys and sadness and a renewed appreciation for family, friends and the sport we love to play. It was really wonderful to see so many of our community at Remuera for our first event back.  Many thanks to the Remuera Bowling Club for opening their club to us and for being so accomodating, we realise hosting at these times requires added work and it is truly appreciated. Thank you to Gerard Hulst our Umpire, The Team at Kids Broadcast Sport for the Livetream and Miles Davis and Brenton Vannisselroy for their commentary.

Congratulations to all our Champions on your title wins. We are really looking forward to our upcoming Champion of Champion and 1-5 Year events. Don’t forget the thermals and wet weather gear!
