We had a superb day of bowls Sunday for the annual Battle of the Bridge Tournament. Hosted for Auckland by Pt Chevalier Bowling Club – Open Men and Howick Bowls – Open Women and hosted for North Harbour by Milford Bowling Club, the 1-5 Year Men and Women.
A massive thank you to these host clubs for the day, to our umpires, and those who came forward to mark. It was a closely run competition, the Ryder Cup format made for some very tight scoring and making the Singles matches all important.
North Harbour took the overall win in the open event and Auckland took the win in the junior event. The trophy heads back over the Bridge… Congratulations, see you next year!
