Reserve Day: Sunday 8 March

🔹Start Times
Men – 09:00 am
Women – 12:00 pm

• Teams must be on site at least 30 minutes before their scheduled start time.
• Trial ends as per Conditions of Play.

🔹Conditions of Play – Pathway 7’s
This is a pathway event and will be conducted strictly in accordance with the published Conditions of Play.  Key reminders are:

✳️Team Composition – No Shuffling Between Disciplines

• The team that qualified must remain intact.
• Players cannot be shuffled between disciplines (Singles, Pairs, Fours) – this aligns with Bowls New Zealand, given it is a pathway event.
• The same-named players must play in the same disciplines as declared.
• If a player is unavailable, a substitute must be requested and approved.

✳️Substitute Criteria

A substitute:

• Must be a financial member of the same club.
• Must not have played for another team and /or club in this competition.
• Must not strengthen the side beyond the original team’s intent.
• Cannot skip the team (if applicable).
• Must be inside the maximum allowance for that discipline.
• ALL substitutes must be approved before play.

🔹Markers

• Each 7’s team must provide a marker for Singles (for this event, it is the responsibility of the team/club playing, not the host club).
• Failure to provide a marker will result in the Singles discipline being defaulted for that round.
• Please ensure arrangements are confirmed prior to match day.

🔹Umpires
Post section will have umpires.

🔹Event Extras

• Molecheck will be on site. Players are encouraged to book appointments directly with their team and partake in fun activities at their stall for spot prizes.
• Hero Coffee will be onsite from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, with the first 50 coffees compliments of Bowls Auckland.

✏️ Format – Pathway Sevens
A side of seven comprises: one Singles, one Pairs, and one Fours.
Three rounds per day x2 days
Knockout post-section 
All teams must be accompanied by a marker and/or Team Manager.

💰National Pathway Event
The Men’s and Women’s champions will represent Auckland in the National Finals in Wellington on 3-6 April 2026.
Bowls Auckland will provide a travel contribution to support the winners attending the event.
