Women's Premier Open Singles

19 Sep 2017

This weekend we have the Women's Premier Open Singles with a full field of 64 players entered.  Once again we have some extremely talented entrants with Elaine McClintock the 2017 winner of The Trusts New Zealand Open Women's Singles and Pairs, Selina Goddard the winner of the National Open Women's Singles, and Ling Qu who was the Runner up in the 2016 Women's Premier Open Singles, just to name a few of the highly skilled bowlers that have entered.

Section play on Saturday 23rd September will be at New Lynn Bowling Club as our Headquarters, Blockhouse Bay Bowls, Kohimarama Bowling Club (transferred from the original venue of St Heliers) and Henderson Bowls. Post section on Sunday 24th September will be at New Lynn Bowling Club on their fabulous new covered green.

In a new innovation for this year a random live draw for the top 16 through to Post Section will be conducted at 7:45am on Sunday morning at New Lynn Bowling Club with breakfast available for purchase for those early bird players and spectators. Lunches will also be available for those that are interested to pop down to New Lynn later in the day to watch the finalists battle it out!

Check out the breakfast menu here:
