Keep the evening of Friday August 4th free so you can come along and support the Christchurch launch of lawn bowls for visually impaired people.

We have a very inspiring speaker who will educate and entertain you about his journey of becoming blind and how he goes about living a full and healthy life. Greg Johnson is a 42 year old man who went blind in one eye aged 18 and then the other eye aged 32. Greg has been the NZ Singles Champion in blind lawn bowls and in recent years has walked the Auckland, Rotorua and New York marathons. Greg is a very inspirational and humorous speaker who will share some of the ups and downs of his experiences.

Please come and enjoy listening to Greg as we launch blind lawn bowls in Christchurch.

All are encouraged to bring family and friends to what will be a fun evening. Young people in particular will value listening to Greg so think about inviting your children and grandchildren.

A finger food supper will be provided.

A gold coin donation will be asked for to help establish a financial base for blind bowls in Christchurch.
