Carlton Cornwall Nab Both Spots in Interclub Final

21 Mar 2014

Carlton Cornwall are guaranteed to win the Friday Interclub this year with both the Gold team and the Black team making it through to the finals.

The Gold team took on Otahuhu Railway with their first team coming out firing. Nick Krajancic and his team sped through their 18 ends and finished up with a 29-11 scoreline to give Carlton Cornwall the first of their wins.

Otahuhu got some revenge in the second game with Jerry King and team putting up some good defences against Patrick Stanaway and winning 21-7.

The third of the games saw Miro Dragicevich also dominating to take the Gold team through winning 23-9.

Only one of the games for Carlton Cornwall Black side against Oratia was defined early in
the game with Marina Green comfortably winning her battle 19-9 after 17 ends.

The other two games could have gone either way with Oratia's Ian Parkin winning one 14-11 and Mike Stanaway's team coming from behind to take the game 17-15.

The final will be played at 2pm on Friday 4th April at Carlton Cornwall.

Congratulations to both Carlton Cornwall sides and good luck for the final!.
