Mangere takes out Women's Premier Interclub

05 Mar 2014

Women's Premier Division has been won by Mangere after they picked up two wins against Carlton Cornwall last Saturday.  Howick Blue has finished second on 113 points after securing a win and a draw against St Heliers this weekend. St Heliers has finished in third spot on 89 points.

In Division 1 Henderson A has sneaked into top spot  after getting three wins against Blockhouse Bay and pipped Howick Maroon by one point only. Howick Maroon had two wins against Mt Eden which has caused the difference. New Lynn has taken third spot in this division with 107 points.

The bye has made no difference to Carlton Cornwall Black in Division 2 as they already had amassed 119 points. Henderson 2 has finished in second place and St George is in third.

Bridge Park A and the late arrivals Bridge Park AA's have finished at the top of the Any Combination 6's Interclub. St George has finished third here as well.

Men's Premier Division and Division 1 have two more rounds to complete but in the rest of the Men's Division's final positions have been decided.

In Men's Division 2  St Heliers Blue takes the division  with 107 points ahead of East Tamaki Aces on 93. It was a top of the table clash this week and East Tamaki Aces had to relinquish their top spot after going down by two losses and a draw this weekend.  Mt Eden sits in third spot.

Misison Bay Green finished on top of Men's Division 3 ahead of St Heliers Red and Avondale Lions.  Although they had a bye this week, last week's default by Balmoral gave them enough points to stay on top.

East Tamaki Jacks have however, held onto the first place with fourteen wins and one loss , the best record of all in the competition.  Mt Albert Gold and Mt Albert / Sandringham hold the other positions but are well behind the winners in points.
