Young Guns Perform well in Wellington

The National Secondary School National was completed from the 8th – 10th December at Hutt and Naenae Bowling Clubs in Wellington. Auckland players were well represented in all groups many of them playing for the first time in the Nationals.
The team consisted was made up year 9 & 10 players aged between 13 -15 years old. The results from these young players reflects that we have players that will reach great heights in the future.
There were many highlights especially the in the boys pairs combination Alex Edwards and Aiden Takarua (St Peter's College) winning a national title. The girl’s pairs combination Mackenzie Blucher and Alex Greer reaching the semi-finals in the main event. Clayton Hockley also a semi-finalist in the boys singles.

Boys Singles: Clayton Hockley – Fourth
Girls Pairs: Emily Fly & Tiger Wills – Gold
Girls Singles: Antonia Victor – Silver
